3 passengers hurt when stolen car crashes in Crestview

Three women riding in a stolen car suffered minor injuries when the driver lost control of the speeding car and hit a fixed object near Crestview Community Park in Waipahu early Sunday morning.

Police said the 20-year-old Aliamanu man was speeding when he hit an object at 1:22 a.m. Sunday.

Two 21-year-old women and a 19-year-old woman, all passengers in the car, were injured. The driver suffered no injuries.

Police determined that car had been stolen. The driver was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and vehicle theft.
