Police arrested a 51-year-old Makiki man Monday night after he allegedly entered his neighbor’s apartment unit and chased him around.

The man, of an Anapuni Street address, allegedly entered the neighbor’s apartment without his permission about 5 p.m. and chased him to the bathroom because the man had argued with his wife that morning.

The suspect also allegedly threatened to assault the neighbor, 28, but fled the apartment when the victim called police, police said.

The suspect was later located and arrested. He is being held pending a charge of first-degree burglary.
