Victim who died after snorkeling at Hanauma Bay is identified
A 60-year-old San Jose, Calif., man who died after snorkeling at Hanauma Bay Wednesday was identified as Joe Manalo.
The victim was snorkeling with family when a family member spotted him unresponsive 15 feet offshore in waist-deep water, and alerted lifeguards.
He was taken by ambulance in critical condition to a hospital, where he died later Wednesday.
An autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death.
