Kamakura wins federal contract
Honolulu-based Kamakura Corp. has been selected by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to calculate default probabilities for companies and other entities.
Kamakura won the contract through a competitive request-for-proposals process.
The OCC is an independent bureau of the U.S. Dept. of the Treasury established in 1863 to charter, regulate and supervise all national banks and savings associations to make sure they operate in compliance with the law.
