Man charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting firearm at Hilo condo complex
Authorities on Monday charged 34-year-old Jarvis Naoki Higa of Hilo with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a firearm at a Hilo condominium complex in the early morning hours of July 18.
Higa was arrested Monday.
He is being held in lieu of $375,000 bail.
Police said Higa allegedly threatened another 34-year-old Hilo man July 18 with a firearm. Police also determined a round was fired in the parking lot of a condominium complex in Hilo. No one was injured.
