Zippy’s Restaurants will open a restaurant in Hilo next summer, according to a post on its Facebook page. The 26th Hawaii Zippy’s restaurant will be located in Prince Kuhio Plaza.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve Hilo and to provide its residents with all of their Zippy’s favorites,” said Paul Yokota, president, in the online post. “We also look forward to joining and supporting the community by offering employment opportunities and supporting Hilo’s businesses and organizations.”
