Skyler Jude Gomez was born April 27 at the Queen’s Medical Center to Kanoe Lokelani Amoy Ching Gomez and Joey Aldanese Gomez of Kapolei.

Melia Emiko-Lea Kakutani was born Feb. 27 at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children to Terri Mieko Kakutani and Andy Sueto Kakutani of Lawai, Kauai.

Jenna Mae Catu Shibata was born Aug. 12 at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children to Almira Catu Shibata and Rey A. Shibata of Honolulu.

Filipo Paul Savea was born Aug. 8 at the Queen’s Medical Center to Kristen Mae Savea and Paul Savea of Pearl City.

To get your listing in our birth announcement column that runs Fridays, please complete and submit a Star-Advertiser birth announcement for, which can be downloaded at www.staradvertiser.com, a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a color picture of your child. Announcements will be run until the child’s first birthday.
