Big Island brush fire slows traffic
Hawaii Island officials closed one lane of Kawaihae Road near mile marker 64 this afternoon while firefighters battled a small brush fire in the area.
The closure lasted nearly an hour from around 12:40 p.m. to just after 1:30 p.m., county officials said.
