Olympics: Saturday’s sailing results
The United States women’s match racing team won both its matches in London on Saturday to advance to the knockout stage.
The Americans, with University of Hawaii alumna Molly O’Bryan Vandemoer on crew, beat Sweden and Great Britain to finish with an 8-3 record, earning the fourth seed.
Australia topped the field at 11-0, followed by Russia at 9-2 and Spain at 8-3. Finland, France, Great Britain and the Netherlands round out the advancing crews.
