Police arrested a 13-year-old girl Monday being held at the Kapolei Juvenile Detention Center after she allegedly assaulted a 33-year-old female worker at the facility.

Police said the girl allegedly assaulted the woman at 11 a.m. Monday while she was performing her official duties. 

The girl was arested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
