Old South Marlin Club Team 4 leads the way entering today’s final round of the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament at Kailua-Kona.
The North Carolina-based team leads the five-day fishing marathon with 2,850, but can still be caught by Kona Game Fishing Club of Taiyo, Japan, which trails with 2,418 points.
Day 4 of HIBT action produced two boated Pacific Blue marlin, two boated ahi, and 21 billfish tagged and released. Jason Holtz of Marlin Magic leads the Captain Standings with 2,350 points, followed by Teddy Hoogs of Bwana with 1,904.
