Maui police raid leads to nine arrests for gambling
Nine Maui residents have been charged with gambling after police raided a Wailuku home and found a card game in progress last week.
The raid took place on Aug. 16 at a Kaikai Street home in Wailuku by Maui Police Department’s vice unit using search warrants.
Arrested and charged were:
>>Khanhnha Vanhtha, 35, with second-degree promoting gambling and possession of gambling device. His bail was set at $400.
>>Justin I. Chock, 21 with gambling. His bail was set at $200.
>>Lyle Richards, 51, with gambling. His bail was set at $200.

>>Scott Rosario, 42, with gambling. His bail was set at $200.
>>Cary K. Rosario, 42, with gambling. His bail was set at $200.

>>Gavin C. Petrie, 45, with gambling. His bail was set at $200.
>>Thomas J. Borges, 52, with gambling. His bail was set at $200.
>>Clyde M. Imai, 59, with gambling. His bail was set at $200.
