Salt Lake man charged in Aug. 16 robbery in Kalihi
Police arrested a 23-year-old Salt Lake man today in connection with an Aug. 16 robbery in Kalihi.
Chas Hayashida of Ala Ilima Street was charged with first-degree robbery. Bail was set at $30,000.
Police said two men allegedly assaulted another 23-year-old man with a hard object while he was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle, then allegedly took his property.
Today, one of the suspects was identified and arrested. Police had not yet found the second suspect.
