Pahoa Library on Hawaii island to be closed for termite tenting, other work

Pahoa Public & School Library will be closed temporarily for termite tenting and circulation desk replacement from 1 p.m. Sept. 28.

The library is tentatively scheduled to reopen in October. An announcement will be made when the reopening date is confirmed.

The book drop will be locked and not accessible from 2 p.m. Sept. 28.

People may visit these neighboring libraries: Keaau Public and School Library, 16-571 Keaau-Pahoa Road; Mountain View Public & School Library, 18-1235 Volcano Highway; and Hilo Public Library, 300 Waianuenue Ave. Or they may log onto the Hawaii State Public Library System website, www.librarieshawaii.org.
