A Hawaii island man was charged with a break-in in which a Pepeekeo man found someone in his house about 10:35 p.m. Feb. 17.

Ralph C. Riveira, 54, of no permanent address, formerly of Pepeekeo, was charged Wednesday with one count of first-degree unauthorized entry into a dwelling. Bail was set at $5,000.

Detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigation Section continued the investigation, and Riveira was identified as the suspect, police said.
