Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews are fixing a leak in an 8-inch water main at 1740 Alewa Drive Thursday night. 

Customers in the Alewa Heights area may experience lower water pressure, while customers at higher elevations may experience a loss of water service. 

The agency said it is not known exactly how many customers are affected at this time. 

Customers without water service may call the BWS at 748-5000 to request a roving water wagon be sent to the area. 

Work to repair the leak was expected to go on through the evening.
