No. 7 Hawaii sweeps UC Riverside in volleyball

Jane Croson put down a match-high 13 kills and Emily Hartong added 11 as No. 7 Hawaii swept UC Riverside 25-17, 25-16, 25-19 tonight in a Big West Conference volleyball match in Riverside, Calif.

Ashley Kastl added 10 kills and Hartong, moved to right-side hitter, had 10 digs for the Rainbow Wahine (9-2, 2-0 Big West). Hawaii finishes out is first road trip Saturday at Cal State Fullerton.

The Highlanders (5-9, 0-1) got 11 kills from Amanda Valpando.

The Rainbow Wahine used a 14-0 run in Set 3 to take control at 19-10 with Ali Longo serving one of her two aces in the run.
