Notre Dame de Namur routs UHH

Alexis Tershay scored two goals to lead Notre Dame de Namur to a 4-1 women’s soccer victory over Hawaii-Hilo on Tuesday in Hilo.

Adriana Cortes and Bianca Lemus also scored for the Argonauts.

Teisha Nacis scored for the Vulcans.

» In the men’s match between the two schools, NDNU and UHH battled to a 1-1 tie that went to double overtime.

Rodrigo Perez scored for the Argonauts, and Zachary Solarte had the goal for the Vulcans.

Grand Canyon tops Hawaii Pacific in 4

Grand Canyon (Ariz.) upended Hawaii Pacific 28-26, 21-25, 25-23, 25-15 in women’s volleyball on Tuesday at the St. Andrew’s Priory gym.

Janae Giles had 14 kills for the Antelopes (13-2, 3-2 Pacific West Conference). Mackenzie Phelps chipped in with 34 digs.

Samantha Rummans had 15 kills and Kasey Thompson added 10 for the Sea Warriors (7-4, 1-2).

Chelsey Buyuan had 21 digs and Pihanakealoha Kea had 37 assists for HPU.
