BYU freshman Hill starting at quarterback against Hawaii
PROVO, Utah >> True freshman Taysom Hill is the starting quarterback for Brigham Young University against Hawaii in their nationally televised game today.
Hill gets the first start of his career replacing senior Riley Nelson, who is sideline with a back injury suffered in the second week of the season. The game started at 2 p.m. Hawaii time on ESPN.
Hill, a 6-foot, 2-inch, 218-pounder, played a little over a quarter last week in the 7-6 loss at Boise State. James Lark, a senior, will be the backup.
