Manoa Waioli Lions Club member Nadine Nishioka will be recognized in a White House ceremony for her work to beautify and improve the environment through a variety of projects.

She is one of 11 Lions Club members around the country who will be honored in a Tuesday ceremony recognizing Lions Club members as “Champions of Change,” as part of the clubs’ nearly 100 years of volunteer service around the world.

The recognition will be streamed online at http://www.whitehouse.gov/live and will be recorded for subsequent viewing on the Lions Clubs International YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/lionsclubsorg .
