A 30-year-old Waianae man was arrested after allegedly throwing bricks into the windows of a car of a woman with whom he was arguing, and then resisting arrest when captured by police officers on Sunday morning.

The man and woman, 26, were arguing when the man, attempted to block the woman’s escape by throwing bricks at her car, smashing the car windows and endangering the woman, police said. 

At about 8:45 a.m., responding officers located the man, who resisted arrest, police said.

The suspect, of a Kaukamana Road address, was being held on counts of first-degree criminal property damage and resisting arrest.
