Warning signs come down at Maili Beach after shark sighting

Lifeguards posted warning signs at Maili Beach Monday afternoon after two “aggressive” sharks were sighted in the water, a spokeswoman for the city Department of Emergency Services said.

After assessing the situation, lifeguards took the signs down at 3 p.m.

It’s not clear what kind of sharks were involved.
