Romney: Obama has failed America’s women

CHESAPEAKE, Va. » Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama has failed America’s women.
The Republican nominee told supporters in Virginia today that women have suffered through high unemployment and high poverty rates during Obama’s term. Romney says he has a better plan to help them.
Romney’s push to broaden his appeal came a day after he faced off against Obama in the second presidential debate.
Both candidates are courting women voters.
During the debate, Romney highlighted the number of women who served in his administration when he was governor of Massachusetts.
Campaigning in Iowa today, Obama criticized Romney for not backing a law allowing women to sue for equal pay.
