Female student reports being accosted by unknown man at UH-Manoa
A University of Hawaii at Manoa student reported being accosted by an unknown man as she walked from a student residence toward lower campus Friday afternoon.
The student told UH campus security that she was walking down an access road from the Hale Wainani student residence about 2 p.m. when she saw a man sitting on a parked mo-ped by the Hale Noelani Market. The man followed her on the mo-ped, tried talking to her and then grabbed her by the wrist. The student said she pulled free and went to a nearby group of students as the man rode away.
The suspect is described as being in his 20s, about 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with long curly dreadlocks and a moustache, and wearing dirty long pants and a faded shirt.
