Police arrested a 38-year-old man for allegedly choking and slashing a 26-year-old woman during an argument in Kahala Friday morning.
According to police, the two were arguing when the suspect “applied pressure to the victim’s neck causing her to go nearly unconscious several times.” The suspect also cut the woman’s forearm with a steak knife, police said.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and abuse of a household member.
