Theft of knife, threat with same land teenager in HPD cellblock
A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday night following two incidents in Moiliili in which he allegedly stole a knife from one man and then used it to threaten another.
Police said the suspect allegedly took the knife from a 27-year-old man and then used it to threaten a 22-year-old man riding a bicycle at 10:20 p.m.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree assault, third-degree theft and disorderly conduct.
Suspect arrested and charged with Sunday morning robbery
A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery downtown on Sunday morning.
Police say William Hold, who has no local address, approached a 35-year-old man on Nuuanu Avenue at about 7:20 a.m. and demanded his property. Hold was located, identified and arrested a few minutes later after attempting to flee. He was charged Monday with second-degree robbery.
Hold’s bail was set at $25,000.
Police close part of Kunia Road because of overturned vehicle
Honolulu police closed Kunia Road between Anonui Street and Wilikina Drive for about 75 minutes Thursday afternoon due to an overturned vehicle.
There were no critical injuries, but the crash caused a tie-up in the area around Schofield Barracks at about 4 p.m. Kunia Road was reopened at about 5:15 p.m.
