A penalty kick goal by Chelsea Miyake was the difference on senior night for the Hawaii women’s soccer team, which beat Pacific 2-1 at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.

Tiana Fujimoto put in her team-best eighth goal in the 55th minute for UH, but the Tigers equalized in the 62nd. Miyake put in the game-winner in the 70th minute after Ashley Haruki was brought down in the penalty box.

UH (8-8-2, 3-4 Big West) finished 7-1-2 at home this season. The Rainbow Wahine head to Long Beach State and UC Irvine next week to wrap up the regular season.

Seniors Kanani Taaca, Christy Watanabe, Michelle Nakasone, Amber Fuller and Rachel Domingo were honored after the match.
