In Colorado, battle of the less-than-titans
Months back, amid darkening clouds over the University of Hawaii’s athletics department and upper-campus administration, there was hope the Warriors football team might provide glimmers of light.
Alas, no. With a 1-5 start, the UH team now heads into Saturday’s road game against Colorado State, itself struggling with a lackluster 1-6 record. Hardly a clash of the titans. But last week’s bye has enabled a healthier UH team, including the return of running back Joey Iosefa, who missed five games due to a foot injury. Let’s go, ‘Bows — a win is a win is a win.
