Critically injured man found tied up with duct tape in Kihei condo
Maui police opened an attempted murder investigation after patrol officers discovered a unconscious man, who had been tied up with duct tape, with head and facial injuries in a Kihei condominium Friday morning.
Officers found the 59-year-old resident manager of the Koa Lagoon Condominiums on South Kihei Road in his apartment at about 9:36 a.m.
He is reported in critical condition with bleeding and swelling of the brain at Maui Memorial Hospital.
