Man charged with stealing gas from Hawaii island warehouse

A 22-year-old Pepeekeo man was arrested Monday morning and later charged for allegedly stealing gasoline from a Papaikou warehouse, police said.

Norton Castro was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of third-degree theft. 

Bail was set at $4,500.

Castro allegedly stole gasoline at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, and was caught by a video surveillance camera trying to steal gasoline again at 11:37 p.m.
