Police are looking for an intruder who broke into the Kukui Grove Cinema on Kauai.

At about 2:20 a.m. on Dec. 5, the man or woman gained entry to the cinema’s office and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Marlene Blair, president of Hawaiian Cinema Properties Inc., which owns Kukui Grove Cinema, said the burglar also caused damage to one of the movie screens at the four-plex. Damage was estimated at $7,000. 

A surveillance camera caught an image of someone wearing a hoodie, baggy pants, mask and black gloves, Blair said.
