A man in his late 30s was in extremely critical condition after apparently nearly drowning in a pool at about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Turtle Bay Resort.
When Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived, the man had been pulled from the pool and was undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, an Emergency Services Department spokeswoman said.
The man was taken by ambulance to an area hospital in extremely critical condition.
