Two boys, ages 12 and 14, were ejected from the back of a pickup truck involved in a collision with another vehicle in Nanakuli Saturday morning, an Emergency Medical Services Division supervisor said.

Paramedics took the boys to a trauma center in serious but stable condition, EMS said.

Two 17-year-olds, from the second vehicle, also went to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The crash happened at about 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Farrington Highway and Auyong Homestead Road, near the Nanakuli 7-Eleven store.

Police closed  one lane of the highway while they investigated the crash.
