3 teens held in alleged robbery in Waipahu
Three teen-age boys are facing first degree robbery charges after they allegedly robbed a 48-year-old man in Waipahu early this morning.
The suspects, ages 14, 16, and 17, approached the victim and assaulted him with a dangerous instrument, then took his property, police said.
They fled the scene, but a patrol officer who witnessed the incident found them nearby. They were identified by the victim and arrested.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
