SEATTLE >> Bail has been set at $10 million for a man charged with murder in a shooting at a Seattle intersection believed to be road rage violence.

Dinh Bowman had been held without bail since his arrest in September in the Aug. 31 shooting of Yancy Noll, a 43-year-old wine steward at a Seattle grocery store.

The Seattle Times reports defense lawyers John Henry Browne and Emma Scanlan had asked Monday for bail to be set at $1 million. King County prosecutors said he should not be released.

The 29-year-old Bowman has pleaded not guilty.

Noll was hit in the head by three of five shots fired into his car at a stoplight.

A tip led police to Bowman, who lives a half-mile from the scene.
