>> Baruch (N.Y.) junior Matt Feldman (Punahou ’10) had five points and two assists in a 67-64 loss to Rutgers-Camden on Monday.
>> La Verne sophomore Jourdan Simmonds (‘Iolani ’11) had eight points, three assists and a rebound, and Josiah Sukumaran (‘Iolani ’11) added two rebounds off the bench in a 71-60 loss to Redlands last Thursday.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
>> Washington State guard Lia Galdeira (Konawaena ’12) had 14 points, four rebounds and four steals and Dawnyelle Awa (Konawaena ’12) hit two free throws in five minutes off the bench for the Cougars in a 61-59 loss to Southern California on Sunday.
>> Cal State Northridge senior Violet Alama (Kalani ’09) had four points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists off the bench in a 73-52 win over Long Beach State last Wednesday.
>> Utah senior Iwalani Rodrigues (Kalani ’08) hit two 3-pointers and finished with 12 points, five rebounds and a steal in a 67-57 loss to Colorado last Wednesday.
MEN’S GYMNASTICS
>> Oklahoma freshman Joshua Yee (Thompson Academy ’12) led the Sooners with a third-place finish on vault (14.850) and the parallel bars (14.40) in a quad meet against Nebraska, Air Force and Arizona State on Saturday. Yee, who is the first Hawaii male gymnast to compete in the collegiate ranks, tied for seventh on the high bars (13.40) and took 12th in the floor exercise (13.85) in a field of 50 gymnasts.
WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS
>> Cornell junior Mackenzie Sato (‘Iolani ’10) earned a 9.5 in the floor exercise in a meet with George Washington, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Temple on Sunday.
>> UC Davis sophomore Tiana Montell (St. Joseph ’11) scored a 9.7 on vault and a 9.5 on bars in a meet on Friday against UC Davis and California.
MEN’S WRESTLING
>> Pacific (Ore.) junior Nik Streng (‘Iolani ’09) split two matches at 197 pounds on Friday, losing by pinfall to Simon Fraser before winning a close 2-1 decision against San Francisco State.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
>> Long Beach State junior Taylor Crabb (Punahou ’10) had 10 kills, four digs and a block assist, and senior Trevor Crabb (Punahou ’09) had three kills and a dig in a three-set loss at UC Santa Barbara last Wednesday.
>> Pepperdine sophomore Josh Taylor (Punahou ’11) hit .471 and tied for team-high honors with 10 kills, two digs and a block assist in a three-set sweep of UC San Diego on Saturday.
>> Southern California sophomore Micah Christenson (Kamehameha ’11) had 39 assists, seven digs and five block assists with two kills, and sophomore middle Ben Lam (Punahou ’11) hit .750 with seven kills, five block assists and one solo block in a three-set sweep of UC Irvine on Friday.
>> Stanford sophomore libero Scott Sakaida (‘Iolani ’10) made 10 digs and added three assists in a five-set win over Pacific on Saturday.
>> Brigham Young sophomore Jaylen Reyes (Kamehameha ’11) combined for five digs and five assists as the Cougars split two matches against Lewis on Friday and Saturday.
>> New Jersey Institute of Technology senior Brady Smith (Waiakea ’09) had a match-high 21 digs and six assists, and setter Matthew Lui (Hawaii Baptist ’09) had a team-high 35 assists and six digs with a solo block in a four-set loss to Grand Canyon on Friday.
