>> The Ewa man who jumped from a moving car Thursday was the ninth traffic fatality on Oahu this year, compared with four through Jan. 31 last year. The 83-year-old retired nurse who was run over by a garbage truck Friday was the 10th fatality, compared with five through Feb. 1 last year.
A story on page B1 Saturday said there were seven fatalities through the same period last year.
