UCLA sweeps Hawaii in men’s volleyball
Sophomore hitter Brook Sedore put down 11 kills but it was not enough as No. 13 Hawaii was swept by No. 6 UCLA tonight 26-24, 25-17, 25-23 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s volleyball match in Los Angeles.
The Warriors (4-8, 3-6 MPSF) managed just two blocks against the Bruins (9-7, 5-5). Robart Page and Gonzalo Quiroga each had 11 kills for UCLA, which finished with 11 blocks.
The Bruins increased their series lead to 60-21.
The two teams meet again Saturday.
