Waipahu man turns himself in as suspect in assault on woman
Police arrested a 36-year-old Waipahu man Sunday in connection with an assault Jan. 29.
According to police, the suspect violated a protective order and assaulted a 45-year-old woman, causing her “substantial bodily harm.”
The man turned himself in at the Pearl City police substation and was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and a protective order violation.
