Man accused of having sex with minor

Authorities charged a 20-year-old man Thursday for allegedly having sex with a minor over a period of five months last year.

Police said the juvenile girl told police she engaged in sexual intercourse with the suspect from July to December in Kalihi. Police would not provide an age for the girl.

Police charged Abe Knight with six counts of first-degree sexual assault. His bail was set at $50,000.

3 suspects sought in armed robbery

Police are looking for three men who robbed a 20-year-old man in Waipahu Thursday night.

Police said the victim was walking on Farrington Highway when a man approached him with a semiautomatic handgun and told him to follow him to an alley next to a Napa Auto Parts store.

The victim followed the man and two other men were there brandishing handguns and demanding cash.

The men took $250 in cash and fled.

The robbery took place at about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at 94-830 Moloalo St.

Driver seriously hurt after crashing vehicle

A 64-year-old woman was taken to a trauma center in serious condition Saturday afternoon after she crashed her vehicle into a concrete parking barrier, Emergency Medical Services said.

The accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. near Farrington Highway and Kakalena Street.
