Police arrest suspect in stabbing near Keeaumoku Street
Police arrested a suspect in an alleged stabbing and baseball bat assault on Makaloa Street early this morning and then released him after the victims declined to press charges.
Police said a 20-year-old Ewa Beach man allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old man with a knife and struck a 20-year-old man with a baseball bat following an argument near the Keeaumoku Walgreens store.
Paramedics took the stabbing victim to the hospital in serious condition at about 5:33 a.m., the city’s Emergency Services Department reported.
Police arrested the 20-year-old Ewa Beach man on suspicion of second-degree murder and released him pending further investigation at 9:40 a.m.
