Korean drama star Bae Yong-jun has been in Hawaii for more than a month now but remains elusive to the public as he makes time to relax and go deep-sea fishing.
Bae is most notably known for his role in the hit series "Winter Sonata," aka "Winter Ballad." While there has been nothing else that has matched the impact and success of that series, he seems unconcerned. When Bae is working, his time is taken by writing books, operating his restaurants and studying the art of coffee, from roasting to the final product.
About 400 fans from Japan visited his Gorilla in the Café in Waikiki this past Monday and Tuesday in hopes of getting photos with their favorite star. Local media and interview requests, however, were denied.
