Christian Holy Week events this month begin with Palm Sunday on March 24 to celebrate the entrance of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, and culminate in the observance of his resurrection on Easter Sunday, March 31. Maundy Thursday, which commemorates Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples, is March 28, and Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified, is March 29.

>> Easter Sunday: Worship at 9 a.m., special music with the Chancel Singers and Vai Ole Ola o Kailua Samoan Choir; a children’s Easter egg hunt follows.
