Schoolteacher’s killer convicted despite illness

    Tittleman Fauatea, left, made an appearance with his attorney, Barry Sooalo, for a verdict reading in the courtroom of Judge Rom Trader on Thursday at Circuit Court in downtown Honolulu. Fauatea was found guilty of second-degree murder for killing Asa Yamashita at the Ewa Town Center three years ago, and now faces a mandatory life prison term with the possibility for release on parole.
