Vehicle hits boy on scooter in Kalihi
A 5-year-boy was seriously injured when he attempted to cross a Kalihi street on a scooter and was struck by an oncoming vehicle Saturday night.
The incident happened around 9:17 p.m. on North King Street near Pua Lane.
The child was transorted in serious condition to a local trauma center.
