Honolulu firefighters helped a Salt Lake woman deliver the first of a set of triplets at an apartment complex on Likini Street Saturday.
According to Honolulu Fire Department spokesperson Capt. Gary Lum, firefighters were called to the third-floor apartment unit around 10:40 a.m. when the woman went into labor.
The firefighters helped the woman deliver the first child, then carried her downstairs so paramedics could transport her to a nearby hospital, where the other two children were delivered.
