» Dustin Self, a 19-year-old man from Okla­homa, is missing in the wilderness of Oregon, not Idaho as was reported in a Page A8 headline Friday.

» Science and Mechanics magazine is not related to Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines. A Page B7 story Thursday said Science and Mechanics was split into Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines.

» A program proposed by legislators to ramp up public financing for elections is considered a partial-funding program because candidates seeking to run with public funds would be required to collect 250 private $5 donations from registered voters in order to qualify. A Page B1 story Wednesday incorrectly characterized the program as being completely taxpayer-funded. Also, former state Rep. George Fontaine was elected in 2010 and served one term before being defeated in 2012. The story said Fontaine was a three-time incumbent when he lost.
