>> Christine Yano, professor of anthropology at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, has been teaching a course in Japanese pop culture since 1997, not 1977 as reported in a Page G1 article Sunday.
>> The deadline to comment on a draft environmental assessment on revising the application process for Hawaiian fishponds is May 23, and there is no public hearing. A Page B1 story Monday said the deadline is May 10 and that a public hearing is scheduled for Friday.
>> California-based writer-cartoonist Ray Friesen will talk about his work at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the McCully-Moiliili Public Library as part of Free Comic Book Day. His last name was misspelled on Page D1 Saturday.
>> The exhibit at Bishop Museum is called “Life Through Time: Dinosaurs and Ice-Age Mammals.” A Page D1 story Saturday gave an incorrect name.
