Men allegedly impersonate police officers in robbery of gaming room
Police are looking for a group of male suspects who allegedly robbed a Kalihi gaming establishment early this morning, impersonated police officers and kidnapped three people and took several machines.
Police said eight to 12 males arrived at the gaming room at 1:50 a.m., identified themselves as law enforcement officers and demanded entry.
The suspects allegedly put two men, ages 24 and 25, and a 49-year-old woman in the bathroom, took money and the 25-year-old man’s cell phone, and fled.
They also stole numerous machines, police said.
Police have opened a case involving second-degree robbery, second-degree impersonating a police officer, three counts of kidnapping and second-degree theft.
No suspects were arrested.
