Hawaii County rescue personnel to resume search for camper
Hawaii County fire rescue personnel were to resume a search Wednesday for a missing man who was last seen camping on the Waipio Valley shoreline Monday.
The man reportedly told friends he was setting up a camp and going for a swim. Firefighters said they found the campsite undisturbed with the man’s items neatly stacked near the shore.
The man is described as being in his 60s with large body build, last seen wearing green shorts.
